Let me preface by saying that Valheim is by far one of the most screenshottable games I have played.

A big part of Valheim is exploration and the lighting in this game is stunning. I like the sense of danger that this screen shot exudes: a lone viking walking through a thick forest, seemingly alert for any enemies lurking behind the next tree.

I'm holding off until 1.0 but I'm dying to play this again. Made some of my favorite gaming memories of all time playing it with friends. We decided our next run will have some rules:

  1. Aside from emergencies, either build a town or an outpost, no crappy 1 roof "houses"

  2. All towns and outposts must be connected by a visible road. Road signs must be placed along the routes

  3. All towns must have lore connecting them to the greater lore. All public buildings must be staffed by tamed boars. We call this boar store lore.
