In short, 2025 was a difficult year. New Zealand often scores well or shows improvement on global indexes, but look closer to home and the devil is in the detail. To borrow a phrase from old school reports: Shows great potential but needs to try harder.

Yeah sorry I misunderstood, yeah it's a bit grim. With micro targeting it's hard to imagine it getting better soon 🙁

In saying that, I also need to look at the positives, that we do live in a country that is highly regarded internationally. So all is not lost.

I just need to do what I can to make our slice of the world a better place to live.

Yeah exactly, we aren't aiming for perfect, just trying to make sure things are getting better not worse, and most of all understanding our sphere of influence and our what is outside our control.
