Welcome to General Memes
Memes for the masses, chuckles for the chosen.
Rule 1: Be Civil, Not Cruel
We’re here for laughs, not fights.
- No harassment, dogpiling, or brigading
- No bigotry (transphobia, racism, sexism, etc.)
- Keep it light — argue in the comments, not with insults
Rule 2: No Forbidden Formats
Not every image deserves immortality on the memmlefield. That means:
- No spam or scams
- No porn or sexually explicit content
- No illegal content (seriously, don’t ruin the fun)
- NSFW memes must be properly tagged
If you see a post that breaks the rules, report it so the mods can take care of it.
Otherwise consider this your call to duty. Get posting or laughing. Up to you

So does this really work?
I'm afraid I can't tell you that, I signed an NDA.
I tried it once. The interview ended about 2 minutes later and I did not get the job. The rejection email said it was because I wasn't forthcoming.
Wow. Extremely unprofessional. Don't they know that explaining the reason for the rejection is a legal liability?
You guys get rejection emails??
Potentially dodged a bullet.
It worked for me once. Gave them just enough info to make wrong assumptiions. Judged it to perfection and got really lucky.
I have done that. I didn't technically lie that I wrote for a lot of news publications and appeared on their website.
And by writing, I mean he was the guy writing comments in their comment section and they posted my email once.
Not like this. You don't just sit there in silence, that's be weird. You talk vaguely around the subject without disclosing specifics.
And clients will appreciate that you respect confidentiality.
