Capitalism, which Democrats support, is inherently fascist. It sounds like you support some level of reform which is a surefire path towards failure. Any threats to the current power structure within the party are eliminated before they become a threat to that power.

I'm a Democrat and I don't support capitalism.

I think you are confusing what specifically defines party affiliation.

The Democratic party is over half the country population.

There are certainly a lot of individual opinions on economic systems but mostly Democrats push towards socialism.

With socialism sometimes being defined as the transition stage between capitalism and true communism.

Although some democrats definitely see socialism as the end goal.

I myself see socialisms inevitable failure (socialism policies being undone) if capitalism is allowed to continue without the end goal of communism being continuously pursued.

Every policy for the people will inevitably be undone when oligarchs challenge it. And they will.

They are doing it right now with all the EPA, labor laws, and safety laws being removed (in the U.S).

democrats have never pushed towards socialism, they constantly punch left to protect the right. They will defend fascism to protect their own self interests and privilege the status quo gives them. Claiming to be a dem and not support capitalism is like being an atheist christian
