The truck also says "No Mullah". Meaning it is against the current Iranian government but also opposes replacing it with a Shah.

The Truck drove through a demonstration that opposed the Regime and injured several people. Luckly no one was seriously hurt. So this is not supporters of the Iranian Government attacking someone opposed to the Regime. The background and motivations of the driver are unclear atm.
Wow I had not seen that yet. This is an amazing propaganda piece by ABC7 "news".
It frames the event as "Chaos erupts as U-Haul drives into crowd during anti-Iranian regime rally in Westwood". ABC7 also avoids any angle of the anti-Mullah on the truck and tries to frame this as an "attack by a pro-Iranian terrorist" by extremely selective choice of angle and words.
ABC7 shows people screaming loudly while the truck very clearly stops for them. ABC7 also leaves out crucial information on the motivation of the truck, and also does show the pro-Shah mob attacking the truck.
It is fairly obvious why nobody was hurt, because the truck did not try to hurt anybody.

They are all lucky this wasn't WAY worse!
Going through the videos online what was astounding is that almost every video cuts out the pro-Shah crowd attacking the man and starts the video at the moment he starts driving away, most frequently right after he accelerates to make it look like he never stopped and was driving into the crowd on purpose.
