Existing is difficult. What are your favorite ways to unwind / chill out?

I personally have gotten really into crafting. Doesn't take much in terms of tools and it feels good to get good at something without thinking about making money. My family also loves the gifts :)

I love reading. But my local library is awful, they have barely anything and what they have is mostly trash like celebrities' autobiographies. If another library has the book you want, you have to pay £7 for an inter-library loan! Which I can't afford right now. My amazon wishlist is growing longer by the day with all the books I intend to read if I win my benefit appeal.

I also love hiking but disability/mobility issues have prevented much walking at all last year, and it's still an issue. In fact due to the shitty NHS, my mobility issues are getting worse rather than better. When I was more able-bodied I used to hike along the coast through three towns and then get the bus back.

I used to love magic msuhrooms too when they were legal and you could buy them in shops. Can't get those now even if I had the money.

So really don't have much way of unwinding other than doomscrolling. I want to learn to draw but I just don't have the energy, concentration or motivation.

Used to love going to rock festivals too but that's out of the question now. At least I still have a few CDs and a walkman.
