Rule 5: Keep it civil. It's OK to say the subject of an article is behaving like a (pejorative, pejorative). It's NOT OK to say another USER is (pejorative). Strong language is fine, just not directed at other members. Engage in good-faith and with respect! This includes accusing another user of being a bot or paid actor. Trolling is uncivil and is grounds for removal and/or a community ban.
Similarly, if you see posts along these lines, do not engage. Report them, block them, and live a happier life than they do. We see too many slapfights that boil down to "Mom! He's bugging me!" and "I'm not touching you!" Going forward, slapfights will result in removed comments and temp bans to cool off.

We are living in times of hybrid wars. Are the US seriously this stupid or is it deception for something else?
The administration is made up of the dumbest motherfuckers to have ever walked the Earth.
The newspapers and media companies play along, but are owned by billionaires who could force congress to impeach Trump.
But they are also the dumbest motherfuckers who have ever walked the earth. You don't need to be smart to be an oligarch.
Some heirs are, but the majority of billionaires is clever enough to understand that alienating all allies will destroy their fortunes.
I think once you have more billions than you know what to do with, you don't care about money, or allies or material things anymore.
You start to believe you are a god and you deserve to rule the world. Hence why they are all going along with the fascism.
It's a mental disease. People shouldn't be allowed to have this much money for their own health and once they do, the only medicine is the guillotine.
Putin and Trump are some of the worst cases of this disease and need that medicine ASAP.
There are about 1,000 billionaires in the US, competing with 1,000 in China. That competition will keep them grounded in reality. They can only go with fascism if that keeps them competitive.
Competing for what? Certainly not in earning more money. What would having more money achieve if they already have all the money?

If they're competing for anything, it's power. Fascism brings more power to the rich and the ruling class.
Also, more power = more means to extract more money from the working class.

The reality is that they are destroying the planet. Literally.
And they are most certainly not grounded in this reality.
They are only destroing the climate that is suitable for farming. The coal comes from forrests that grew on earth while CO2 levels were high.
They may not care about humanity but they care about maintaining their power.
According to them climate change is a hoax. That's not being grounded in reality. That's denying reality.
So in other words, they are "grounded in their own delusional reality". Not the real reality.
There are 1,000 billionaires. Not all will believe it. E.g. why has Musk pushed electric cars?
Even if they say they don't believe if, that can be deception. Climate change is useful for the northern shipping route, or to create bigger changes like triggering a new ice age and make north Africa green again, or just to soften nuclear winter.
There is no open discussion about why global warming was not stopped in 1970 when people knew and things could have been changed.

That is what media owned by billionaires is telling us. However, it doesn't make sense to throw away power like they seem to do. The techno feudalists are also not the only ones with influence.
They believe they will be able to “fix” it later. They also believe their money will protect them.
Trump is devaluing the Dollar. Their companies lose global influence if China becomes the hegemon. If things continue unchanged they won't have anything to fix.
They believe they can rebuild the world how they see fit. Even if they devalue their wealth they are still WAY RICHER than everyone else.
The business leaders tried a coup in the 1930s. This time they are succeeding.

The US cannot continue with the image of world police if every atrocity can be seen on Youtube. The US is reinventing itself for the information age.
The information about the explosion of the north stream pipeline has left the world guessing who did it. I think the US has committed to being ambiguous at all times.
They are playing a new game.
Their loyalty is to themselves, they are profiting from the destruction of the nation, just like the nobles of old were doing before the French Revolution.
Without the nation there won't be a military to secure their companies.
They believe they can buy an army for each one of them.
China is going to take the technological lead sometime after 2027. A single billionaire can't field a competitive army unless they can get AI and robots ready by then.
They will try and the common people will suffer, but I personally don't think they will succeed.
Why should they try? Billionaires make money by selecting good strategies for their companies. As a group they can't be dilluded about the risks of splitting up the West.
