I didn't think anyone could make Kim Jong Il (or Kim Jong Un) seem comparatively rational and genius in a single note.

The kims all understand political philosophy at the very least. They're intellectuals well read in socialist theory (or, at least, il-sung was. The others I can only assume). For the most part they can run a country most of its people like smoothly
