This is the crux of the entire liberal "if Holocaust Harris won, we'd be out to brunch!" crowd of privileged liberals. You're totally correct.
And there are a ton of them on Lemmy surprisingly, so your downvote ratio on this comment is no surprise. They'll never offer a coherent response except, "Well if we had voted for genocide, at least things would be moderately less bad for us... yeah terrible about all those Palestinian children, but like, I have to show up for city-approved protests all the time now..."
