I have heard from one of my friends that they knew somebody who managed to earn around $50 in around 4 hours doing doordash deliveries by foot in downtown Toronto.

I really want to earn at least some money by doing doordash deliveries, but I have no car (or even a G1 driver's license). Could I do it by foot or public transit in downtown Toronto?

Also, yes, I do know that I will probably not earn much compared to even a minimum wage job, but for now I'd be happy with at least some money while I look for a real job.

$50 in four hours is a bad deal. You could earn more than that at a coffee shop or any other job really

I know, but thing is I've been trying to apply for these kinds of jobs (like TimHortons, McDonalds, various grocery stores, .etc) for like a year now but with no luck, and so just for now (while I continue trying to find a job), I would rather accept that $12.5/h over $0.

That’s rough I’m sorry:( For pocket money you might try asking for odd jobs on Nextdoor* too. Sometimes older people are looking for help with computers, setting up their phones, digitizing photos, and that sort of thing.

*If you do go on nextdoor don’t read the political posts/comments OR neighborhood dog poop disputes or you will learn to hate your neighbors.
