Any "scientist" that uses "AI" for anything but fixing basic sentence structure and flow of words in a paper should have their degree revoked. Full stop.

Unless your research is literally about machine learning models, or about highly correlated (NOT causative) data that an ML model has provided some elucidation on, then it is nothing but LAZY FUCKS using "AI" to do their job for them.
