Posts should be related to UK-centric news, and should be either a link to a reputable source, or a text post on this community.
Opinion pieces are also allowed, provided they are not misleading/misrepresented/drivel, and have proper sources.
If you think "reputable news source" needs some definition, by all means start a meta thread.
Posts should be manually submitted, not by bot. Link titles should not be editorialised.
Disappointing comments will generally be left to fester in ratio, outright horrible comments will be removed.
Message the mods if you feel something really should be removed, or if a user seems to have a pattern of awful comments.

Hundred percent agree apart from the fact that it's only been there last 30 years. It has always been the case but now is on a quicker scale with technology and the complete surrender to international companies (mainly American where consumer rights do not exist). Government responses are there (and we have much more protection here than most of the world) but they are still slow to respond so more people are caught before they can respond.
We need some way to have preventative measures, a change in attitude from the "business community" and actual repercussions.
First though, we need to stop buying from / using Amazon, Meta, Google, etc.
