From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Linux is a family of open source Unix-like operating systems based on the Linux kernel, an operating system kernel first released on September 17, 1991 by Linus Torvalds. Linux is typically packaged in a Linux distribution (or distro for short).

Distributions include the Linux kernel and supporting system software and libraries, many of which are provided by the GNU Project. Many Linux distributions use the word "Linux" in their name, but the Free Software Foundation uses the name GNU/Linux to emphasize the importance of GNU software, causing some controversy.

So when I upload an image on certain sites the Image "uploads" but it comes out as a solid or staticy colours & looks nothing like what I uploaded.

this really became a problem when I made some new PFPs for my Online Accounts, Glomble & Here took them fine but WAFRN & Bluesky who took the previous images fine just showed the weird stuff even though when they allowed be to crop the image it looked perfectly fine, any advice?

  1. What's a PFP?
  2. What format are you uploading them in?
  3. What app are they generated with?
  4. Do they also look corrupted on other devices you may have handy?

1: PFP in this context means Profile Picture 2: I've tried .png .jpeg & .webp 3: I used Krita to make the image 4: I don't have anything else I could use

Are you just SAVING as these file extensions, or EXPORTING as each type of file extensions.

Not the difference, and see in the File menu that you need to use the EXPORT function to change actual file type.
