Thought about Jordan Peterson was put into a coma to get over his addiction to sleep aids. The drugs he took would have killed him if he went cold turkey, same with alcohol, but with other drugs it's perfectly fine to go cold turkey.

Like I could see if you have an addiction to pain meds and cravings are too much

That's just one step and doesn't break addiction, you need a mental shift and life change to stay away from the drug that holds you

I would assume that you get past physical cravings and make quitting drugs easier

I wouldn't know, I don'tstuggle with that. Russell brand being clean more than 7 years from heroin, said that the craving never went away.
