I started with MH1, like when it first came out. But the newest one I own is Rise. I guess as a Lance user, I've never really felt weak cuz I don't see that bit. 🤷‍♂️

Lol fair enough. I tried lance during my last playthrough of World, and holy shit it was satisfying staying in the monster's face while being basically indestructible. The only time I've ever actually enjoyed fighting Diablos in my life.

You may see fewer differences in Wilds if you only play lance, so it might be worth giving a go. They gave my Greatsword a freakin' parry/counter, of all things, which is just wrong on so many levels. Most of the weapons are absolutely overpowered anime shadows of themselves at this point.
