Foreign policy and trade in China was controlled by neolibs since Deng took power. Only in the most recent Xi years have the neolibs been taken out. We’ll see a very different China foreign policy-wise in the next few years.

So you're saying that for the past 10+ years he's been extremely soft on Israel as a concession to domestic neolibs and this is actually a signal that he doesn't need to make such concessions anymore?

I mean we can hope that’s the case yes. I was just writing on the facts on how things were run in China, without any speculations.
