I have an infected molar from a root-canal, and I'm having much problems lately getting it professionally extracted. &@!$!*(^

Eh... I think I might be able to post at a half-rate / 3rd-rate for the time being, so if you enjoy this community and want to help keep it going, feel free to share some Euro comics stuff here, however you please.

Sorry to hear about your tooth pains. Is this your first extraction? I had one removed a couple years ago and it was kinda weird not having a tooth at first, but the procedure was virtually painless. even tho it was apparently a "difficult" removal... to me that just meant it took a little longer than most procedures. (Modern pain management is awesome, during my first root canal I even started snoring at one point when I almost fell asleep.) Anyway it was a little odd not having a tooth while it healed enough to get an implant, but now I've basically forgotten that it was ever out. Since I'm the US, of course the hardest part was that apparently someone made a data entry error so I had to make several phone calls and write a letter explaining that I DO have health insurance...

Damn, that sounds a bit bureaucratic, on your side.

Myself, I don't really care about the extraction pain, and over the years, this would be... not my first molar tooth removed. It's moreso my worry about a major infection in my jaw catching loose. Such things are generally not good...

Infections so close to the brain can be quite dangerous, so I hope you can get it removed very soon, because now I am fucking worried. Best wishes and get well soon! (If it does not bother you, please keep me updated)

Thanks. I'm going to try again, tomorrow or Tuesday.

I actually scheduled and showed up at one place on Friday, but they told me my ID was inadequate. Very annoying...
