I actually had not realized that. fine to me if the ban hammer swings this way to but maybe let the athletes compete for other countries.

They usually let them compete under the Olympic flag I believe

That what must happen to Israeli & USA & EU & Ukraine & Russia athletes, that have not been soldiers. Of course since it is mandatory in Israel, there might not be any athletes from Israel competing.

They weren't banned for the Ukraine thing, but for doping. There are Russian athletes that compete under ROC in Olympics now.

Edit-well, looks like I was wrong. The ban was rescinded in '22, than there were banned again for the Ukraine invasion. And now some athletes compete under AIN, Athletes from Individual Neutral Athletes

There are a lot of countries that is to; PE drugs are a joke.
