Was just talking to my dad about this. Most people would agree that there was a point in German history before 1939 where people would have been justified in shooting at the authorities. But zoom in, and decide which day marked that point, and you'll have a lot of disagreement.
It’s worth remembering that the nazis sent delegations to the USA to study its race laws and political system.
The USA was the template.
I get that. It's just easy to talk about the Nazis as an evil we can all (hopefully) agree on.
