Hey OP observe the Grammar Nazi in its purist form. They can't get past the mistake. Their comprehension stalls and the only thing they can see is the mistake. Kinda sad really. You can imagine them being a step from safety in some easily avoidable disaster and because the instructions contain a mistake in grammar they just stand there until the danger destroys them.
The word you're looking for is "syntax", I believe. Also, a burp is not an opinion, nor inherently funny —contrary to what you seem to feel.
