The laws to be introduced in parliament this week will ban the phrases "globalise the intifada" and "from the river to the sea", as well as offensive symbols.

Sadly the ABC doesn't give a fuck, they've been pro-genocide this whole time and made it perfectly clear where their biases lay.

The MSM in this country needs to die off. Michael West and Independent Australia are the only sources I bother to actually read these days.

I sent them a complaint as well, not because I expect anything from them but to amplify your own message.

I also wrote an email (I usually prefer physical letters, but the turnaround time on this one meant I wanted it received asap) to my (Labor) state MP. Got a lazy form response in reply.

More details on that in the !brisbane thread.

Thank you for taking the time to send your feedback about the report on Queensland Parliament's proposed hate laws.

A spokesperson for the Justice for Palestine was interviewed later in the afternoon on the day of the announced reforms.  Her comments were included in the video version of the story and should have been sent through to our digital team to be added to the online story.  This didn't happen.  It was an error and after receiving your complaint I asked the team to amend the article.  A quote from the Justice of Palestine spokesperson and an explanation of the contested nature of the phrases has been added, along with an editor's note identifying the update.

I've spoken directly with the journalists involved in an effort to ensure they learn from the mistake.

Once again, thanks for sending through your complaint which will help improve our work in future.

Aye, that was the response the ABC sent me. I think I already posted my Labor MP's office's much swifter response elsewhere in the thread.
