He can say whatever he likes, but only fools would believe him, because - like everyone else in the LNP - he's lied incessantly for decades, and keeps warm by lodging himself firmly up Gina's large intestine.
Unfortunately, Albanese's tarnished Labor so much, they're not a viable alternative. Clearly doing something about housing affordability requires more than just a promise. And maybe he should've asked the country first whether or not we wanted a genocidal maniac over for high tea.
Given I'm not a raging bigot and possess an IQ over 90, I won't be voting PHON.
Or Clot of Trumpriots (or whatever Palmer will market himself as this go-round, with his eye-searing yellow billboards).
Best this former Labor voter can hope for is a decent Indy and the Greens.
Yeah you couldn't really say Labor isn't captured by corporate interests at a federal or state level but at least their corruption isn't as blatant as the Coalition. I'm honestly shocked at how easily country voters are duped into voting for the Nationals.
Albanese and Labor do seem to make quite a few dubious decisions, I wonder how effective sending letters expressing my opinion might be on the Labor policy of toeing the line ..
Couldn't hurt.
