Thanks! Still need to sign the papers and so on. Apparently it's really difficult to find an apartment in Berlin, the company has a flat we can stay in for a few months, but after that we need to have our own place. So we'll have to decide if we try to buy or rent, and what to do with our flat in Finland. Also we don't have a car, so it's going to be interesting to figure out how to get our stuff there... Probably not on a bicycle though! πŸ˜…

I understand that in Germany when you move you take the entire kitchen with you, like cabinets and everything. Will you have to buy a "kitchen"?

I was looking at flats today and that seems to be the case, even in rental flats!?! makes no sense to me! Who voluntarily wants to remove and re-install kitchen cabinets and appliances!
