I love all you comrades and your attitude to Cold Warriors using "Bolshevik" as an insult... I'm the same. Like, I understand that another Red Scare and another Cold War are very much dangerous social problems we do not want. But, also, when people stuck in the Cold War call me a commie... well, I am one.

I was about five the first time a McCarthyist called me a pinko for some stupid kid stuff. I was ten the first time I was called a Bolshevik, and I just told the guy he was right, and then proudly called myself a Bolshevik going forward. (It was the same guy.) I'm a big fan of archaic political terminology in general, though. I get a kick out of being called things that haven't been seriously said since the Cold War or since McCarthy. So yeah, calling myself a Bolshevik, or having some crazy Cold Warrior use the term to insult me, is neat. And I love this kind of old Red Scare garbage... A Bolshevik lurking around every blade of grass, you say? Haven't seen any, I'm afraid... now if you'll excuse me, this Soviet Bear needs to fix his red fur bows and matching claw varnish...
