I am unemployed, lol. I just finished university and am staying with my parents until I find a job. I have applied for over 100 jobs and had 4 interviews, even a trial day. But it's hard to find a job in this economy!
I know the feeling. I was unemployed for 5 months after I graduated. The first couple months were a really nice break (aside from my father & father-in-law constantly nagging...), but after that I was absolutely climbing the walls. I built SO MUCH stuff in Minecraft, including a theater lined entirely in obsidian - and this was before efficiency enchantments were a thing
Wow that sounds tough! Glad you got a job in the end. Building without enchantments is horrible, lol. I always have to grind enchants before any major building. Though I don't have a beacon yet and really need to fight the wither. Might do that one of these days. Would help out massively.
I usually just use the home portal in the end to cheese it - I figure I've beaten the guy plenty of times over the years. 😛
The only time I did that was on a server and I did it wrong so it escaped into the end and I had to fight it and died and my server mates helped me kill it lol. It was so chaotic. Never again. I just do it underground in the overworld far away.
How does that even happen? The Wither went through the End portal?
Yeah I think so. Pretty sure, you have to be very specific about where you place the wither. I think you have to place it under the pillar. I had never done that before and so it pushed through the portal when it appeared and escaped. If it pushes through the bedrock pillar it gets stuck. I think not sure though.
To be clear, my builds were nowhere near as impressive as yours - major kudos
You gave me a PTSD with the unemployed line. I had to suffer 9 months of being unemployed as an intern programmer wannabe and this was 2 years ago. Hope you find luck, dear soldier.
Oof that sounds tough! Thanks for the wishes. And with the rise of AI, I imagine being in the tech industry is quite scary these days. I keep hearing about layoffs. I do keep applying regularly so hopefully I will find work soon. I think in the summer there might be some opportunities hopefully I don't have to wait that long though.
