Last week was my first full week back at work after recovering from this weird cold / flue that's going around.

You know... after almost 30 years working for the same company (in different roles), I'm not sure I want to stay there any more.

No similar jobs nearby - or they're paying 50% less... but... I'm just not feeling like dealing with the daily crap anymore.

It's a bit unsettling...

I've just deleted the "no, that won't work" response I started writing... I still don't think I'd actually do it, but, you've got me thinking about it now.

Triple my income, no office politics, just rake it in until I retire... hmmm...

As a contractor, I'd be paying myself minimum wage and everything else would be "tax efficient", so that's what, ~£12 soon.. so.. you'd be better off if I bought you a pint 😉
