I just hate the fact you need to buy Google Pixel phone to use it. But I guess they needed the most standardized hardware that doesn't have 24 variants on each release...

Pixels have the most secure hardware. Luckily it doesn't have to be the newest model so not too expensive for a phone

It’s because GrapheneOS has a long list of support and security requirements, and Pixel devices are the only ones that implement them all.

That’s never been an issue for other phones and ROMs though
