It absolutely is just the tip.
Think about all the products out there that decided to save money by using a tiny SoC with a small amount of RAM. All that stuff is about to become too expensive to bother with anymore. Maybe we'll go back to designing things without jamming computer components into every aspect.

Would love to see the smart bullshit go away.
No way will the computers come out of things that do not need them. They'll just raise the prices and if you can't afford it...get another job you lazy fuck and buy our stuff!

Who the fuck is buying a Switch 2? Did Nintendo remove the remote bricking feature? Did they stop bricking Switches for daring to buy a used game cart and play it?
