Not wrong, more like simple minded. Open borders is a bad idea on things like security. If you think people are all nice and good and wouldn't abuse open borders, I don't know what to tell you.

You need a process for immigration that is helpful but ooen borders is dumb as fuck.

looks at EU thats a lot of countries that allow citizens moving freely through them. Strange how it works so well.

To be clear the issue isn't only the people coming not being integrated correctly but also the abuse of migrants fleeing desperate situations by people within the hosting country.

The exploitarion largely stems those migrants not being 'citizens' so do not execrise the same rights. And they cant speak up without threat of deportation. It only drives the point borders enforce exploitation.
