I am not convinced by the numbers shown here. Onlyfans user count is relatively very low so it becomes a non-factor. Stuff like tiktok and gambling follows different usage patterns (require less time/effort commitment) because of which these activities aren't completely mutually exclusive. Feels like the report or the author sees a rise in gambling/porn revenue, assumes that this rise would have still existed in their absence and would have belonged to video games, then concludes that video game money is being eaten into.
Oh yeah the article isn't any insightful analysis but the comment section is surprisingly great for a gaming site.
