I really don't like the title they're using for the article. Which is what most people will read and then become primed for going down a christofascist pipeline.
"Women ruined my games with their onlyfans!!!" waaah
The people writing those top comments should be getting approached by organizers, yesterday and these articles should be agitating for lumpen to become more conscious, not go into culture war, but that would be a dream and this is the reality. Oh well.
I suppose it's worth trying to agitate Kotaku to do better, probably gonna fail, perhaps could redirect the commenters somewhere, but we gotta be okay with failure it's worth at least trying something.
I just think it's interesting and a bit hopeful that even the game site comments section are sprinkled with nascent class consciousness and there most certainly will be a crash of some sort with the rate at which hardware and AAA games are ballooning while income is at best stagnant.
When people can no longer afford the bread or the circus things are gonna get spicy real fast.
