I suppose there's some truth to it. It's very difficult to navigate context in post-modern meme culture. Like the words "Death" and "America" could mean anything depending on the context. It also doesn't accomplish much if I make fun of an abuser without stepping in to stop them, many radicals say the "right" things and don't actually do anything. Which is really not much different than someone getting a dopamine rush anything else. So there's time and place for everything imo.
