Yes, I had to improv words here and there.
It was fantasy horror. A very short story featuring some strange occurrences. I wanted to unsettle the other members of the group with what I was saying.

Yes, I think so. I found that speaking the words aloud was a very good measure of the quality of the writing.
I for one think it's really cool that you are a part of a writing group and that you're improving your writing skills in a little community! I wish I had the stamina to be in a hobby club! Go you!
