Scale's a bit off. On the map, a pin is the size of France. The metal portion could easily take out a major city. On the beach, a pin is about 2-3 meters diameter, with the metal part only big enough to take out one person.

2-3m is still overestimating it. It's as wide as a non-obese person, so like 0.5m or less.

Edit: looking again, maybe 1m, since it actually looks about the width of their hands stretched out a bit to lean on.

The 2-3m thing is referring to the diameter of the red part. I edited the above comment to make it clearer.
