A handful of companies monopolise the web, with unprecedented access to our data. But there are many more ethical โ€“ and often distinctively European โ€“ alternatives

Anyone has recommendations of an EU cloud for sharing data (pro)?

Thanks everyone, I'll check them all out! It's for a friends company, they need something like dropbox/wetransfer.

Infomaniak (Swiss) is really nice from a usability perspective and also really affordable. With KSuite they also offer an inbuilt office suite.

Keep away from infomaniak! Easy to register and cheap, all too perfect. But then your account is locked, cannot recover it by phone or alternate email, and they ask for a copy of your identity card, thing that is not needed to sigup! I just wonder, what the hell will they do with it? How can they validate it? Its not a good thing believe me. Someone has your data and you are blackmailed in order to recover access. Well I just send them a fake ID and guess what? 5 minutes later I have access to my account just to retrieve all data and never look back! They need the ID for their customer safety!!! Lol

Depends what you mean by data sharing and what exactly you expect to get out of it (E2EE?) but in most case I would also suggest Infomaniak Ksuite. It's really good and not expensive.

What you mean sharing data? Like a database? Or files?

I use Hetzner, from Germany. They are good and relatively affordable. But they have increased the prices recently.

You also have Scaleway, from France, also good.

It depends what you want to achieve.
