Why wasn’t verification a thing 5 yrs ago or even 10 years ago? It sounds like some proprietary software is gonna infect open source ecosystem. It’s just sus how immensely imperative it has become
Look at who sponsors and supported this crap. It was meta, google, Snapchat. People who make a ton of money selling targeted ads hoovering up and selling private data.
