There is a thing called Trail-Gator that allowed your kid to ride their bike the whole way but when connected to your bike, you had control.

I could hook up my son's bike and take him to the park, then unhook it and let him ride alone.

I fuck with that HEAVY. Only ever seen the full tow behind complete packages. I might actually get that... Tyvm

This setup is specifically for getting to the greenway without a car. It's pretty shit bike infrastructure to get there so I gotta keep it very tight like this. ๐Ÿ™ƒ

Yeah. Same. I saw the "half bike" ones all over, but my kid wanted to ride alone, but from the house to the park was a shit show so it was either put the bikes on the car to go two miles, or that. Easy choice.
