I like that look for Andre. He could maybe have battled Lou Ferrigno ("The Incredible Hulk") on a special event show that was running those days, called Battle of the Network Stars. Cheesy premise, but I thought it was actually pretty amusing.

That's right, I remember some fun toys along those lines. Steve had metallic / translucent parts when you removed arms plates and leg plates, I think. Also, one his eyes. Sometimes they were even functional IIRC, like in being able to shoot his fist or something.

During that era, the Micronaut toys were kind of similar and quite stylish IMO.

Dang they're going for hundreds of dollars on eBay https://ebay.us/m/CATSZ7 Didn't have micronauts but did have Johnny West figures. And GI Joe of course.
