Facial recognition software. Whether it's AI or not is debatable.
What's the other side of the debate? CNNs are excellent at facial recognition and they've been around for decades.
Debatable as in I cannot be 100% sure it's not AI, despite being 99% sure
Wait... Did I misread you? What makes you 99% sure it's not AI?
Well the article says both, and it never contradicts the title.
I'm not surprised the word AI isn't used a lot because it doesn't paint it in a positive light. If this was a successful arrest, you'd probably see it a thousand times per article
