Been trying to finish up Sea of Stars before heading back to Crosscode like a dozen or so other games I've left on the backburner. The story of SoS is somewhat charming but dear lord is the writing cringe-inducing at times. It's not enough to hamper my overall enjoyment since the gameplay is fun enough to mitigate practically any and all issues I have with it (so far)
I've also finished playing through Sonic Forever and Sonic 2 Absolute, which are both fanmade remasters of the original Sonic 1 and 2 respectively on PC. These are definitely the versions I'll keep coming back to in lieu of using a Sega Genesis emulator
