The Hong Kong approach? There is no agreement for Taiwan to be ceded back to them in 100 years.

I just meant the " promise to do everything by the book and don't rock the boat while you slow walk everything in your desired direction"

Won't happen slowly unless they infiltrate the Taiwan government. Unlikely.
