See, in the Northern hemisphere, the sun is up during the day, which is coincidentally the same time we all drive our cars to work, so charging cars from solar panels at night while we and our cars are home isn't really viable; you'd need house batteries with several times the capacity of your vehicle to make that plus normal house power, and the panels to charge said batteries. Where you're from, with the sun up at night, you can just charge your car's batteries directly.
