He was one of the rare journalists(, for Al-Jazeera,) to still be alive after 17 months of unilateral massacre.
Of course, "Israel" congratulated themselves to have killed a Hamas terrorist, only caring to provide very meager evidence behind their claims that he was a sniper(, they obviously lied for Ismail al-Ghoul, and have systematically murdered hundreds of other palestinian journalists anyway, while preventing non-palestinian journalists to enter).
When he was still alive, Hossam Shabat knew that he was a target, but still continue to report, like too many others.

Just a thought.
I wouldn't know when to start, but it has been way more than 30 years of suffering in the Middle-East.
