So it failed age verification and locked me out of many features. Bear in mind, I am 45 years old. I have an Apple account for 25 years, the age of my personal account alone should already verify my age.

I got the same update and the same verification screen, which immediately verified me based solely on the age of my account. No idea why it didn’t work for the author but I can understand the frustration - especially since OS-level verification isn’t even a legal requirement.

It seems pretty clear he failed the check because he had a life before moving to the UK, and didn’t happen to have a UK issued credit card on file. Do you?

That, or he tried when servers were overwhelmed. Either way Apple pushed out this unforced error as stupidly as possible
