Two weeks ago, I attempted to get in contact with the fuckcombustion.com forum admin and despite two promising leads, I have received no updates, messages or timelines.
It was my hope that I could hand this off to the admin or otherwise work with his contacts. Subsequent attempts to establish contact have not been successful.
Approximately 6 weeks ago the forums went down. We have no idea what's involved in recovery or how long it will take.
Though many will be happy to hear this news, there are many, including myself that are conflicted. This is the community's archive, I wanted to provide to the original team to steward but have been unable to achieve that.
While waiting for communications, I reduced the size and modernized the archive to provide a static site based on the original but with search and other minor features.
I've registered a new domain to keep distanced from other projects of mine. I'm happy to redirect or completely disable if/when fuckcombustion.com comes back.
A torrent or GitHub repository are in consideration.
Keep in mind, a lot of the content in this mirror is still hosted on 3rd parties (imgur, streamable, youtube, imgbb, etc.), it's an incomplete and not a fully cloned mirror.
