Israel views Iran with nukes as an existential threat. Most would agree and accept Iran is waging proxy wars on Israel via Hamas and Hezbollah amongst others, like Houthis (to various degrees). So regardless of nukes, Israel has an axe to grind.
USA doesn't want to see more nukes, regardless. Especially no new nuclear states, regardless of ally or enemy.
Both seem to desire and encourage regime change in Iran.
We're only thirty days in or so. It's important to play up negotiations before letting millions of civilians die from famine and disease. If you just go in and immediately destroy literally all their major infrastructure that'd likely receive more international backlash, as that's some major war crimes... You gotta draw it out. Tit for tat that shit over a decade or 5.
I think the war on terror death toll is estimated around 4-5 million according to a study from Brown University(costs of war project). Most of those(around 80 percent) being civilians dying from famine and disease. About a million from direct attacks (bombs.) That's ultimately what this is... Just another chapter in the endless "war on terror."
