"A year ago, here in France, I compared Trump's presidency to Nero's Court," Malhuret began. "I was wrong – it's the miracle court. An anti-vaxxer, former heroin addict as minister of health [Robert F. Kennedy Jr.], a climate skeptic minister of economy [Scott Bessent], an alcoholic TV anchor, minister of the armed forces [Pete Hegseth], an old Qatar agent, minister of justice [Pam Bondi], a groupie of Putin, minister of national security [Tulsi Gabbard]."

"A Turkish proverb says, 'When a clown settles in a palace, he does not become king, it is the palace that becomes a circus," Malhuret continued. "This great team has decided to create a competitor to the UN. Since the creation of the Board of Peace, Trump has triggered more military strikes than Biden during his entire term."

"Every time the Epstein affair resurfaces, bombs explode somewhere in the world and cause a distraction," he added. "Bomb more to win more."

He loses even more soft power?

I think it’s better to mark this as a potential turning of the tide. The more this sort of talk from other countries government officials, the bolder others will hopefully become. If the world begins a united shunning of the US and Israel it would be a win

He doesn't lose soft power, the US loses soft power.

And that's good, it doesn't matter what face from the uniparty is in charge.
You have been acting like the corrupt policeman of the world since forever.
Terrible for the world, I'm glad he is fucking up your already dying empire from the inside.

I mean, soft power doesn't really matter to a dictator that insists on using hard power.

Except that suddenly he's realizing that soft power did matter, as he casts about looking for anyone to help him out of this mess he's got himself into in Iran.

[–] doc@fedia.io 10 points 1 day ago

It's charitable of you to think that he's connected those dots.

I love being part of the production server he is learning how to use a computer on.

Well I don't see anyone other than Starmer rushing to help clean up his mess in Iran
