Honestly it's pretty impressive how Iran has been able to pinpoint and take out the US's most irreplaceable assets. Losing things THAADs and AWACS is a very painful loss that weakens the US globally.
I think itโs Iran using Chinaโs alternative to GPS is doing wonders here.
Iran needs Beidou to launch its missiles, but knowing where US targets are is crucial intelligence. I'm not doubting Iranian intelligence capabilities, but it's certain China/Russia are doing a lot there.
Honestly, I think now it might be incorrect to separate the three countries when it comes to intelligence operations. Like, when Mossad, or MI6 does something in the region, you can be sure that the CIA was also involved in some way.
Similarly, I think at this point Russia, Iran, and China, are showing a level of cooperation that makes distinction fuzzy at best.
Sure that seems to be making it possible that whatever Iran sends reaches its target, possibly even in EW heavy enviroments. But I'd say the real wonder is how they're getting intel to reach these things, some of which are quite mobile.
