Question about Bard feats at level 4. (lemmy.world)

If I take magic initiate warlock and then grab eldritch blast as my cantrip and hex as the level 1 spell, is that a good decision? It says you can only cast the level 1 spell once per long rest but if the concentration is maintained can I still recast it like I can with Wyll?

Or would it be better to just take actor? My charisma is at 17 so that'll go to 18, deception will increase to 12 and performance to 13.

Not sure which way to go.

None of the options you've suggested are bad. And you can always respec for 100 space bucks anyway.

In my very subjective opinion, I stay away from Magic Initiate and Eldritch Blast in general unless I'm planning on taking the Agonizing Blast from the Warlock class itself.

Yeah the invocations are what make EB crazy good. There’s also a few mid-late game gear pieces that boost cantrip damage that synergies super well

Withers is best boy. Easy to level up kinda half assed knowing I can get in the weeds later
