Different strokes for different folks! My partner and I have probably 300 hours between 5 different runs of multiplayer together, and it's our jam for sure. What sort of issues have you been running into? (Aside from the lost saves of course)

They do address that in the article though.

Dowse adds that "99.9% of our community are the absolute best and it’s because of them— thankfully—that my community team perseveres. But I suppose it was inevitable that when you have a city, a few bad eggs will start a fire."

"It's a double-edged sword that comes with this kind of approach—especially with a game that's this popular. Developers gain a lot by listening closely to feedback, talking with their players, and putting a face to their names on social media. On the other hand, they also open themselves up to the masses at large. While only a small portion of said masses are nasty, the law of large numbers kicks in very quickly: 0.5% of a million people is still 5,000 angry strangers yelling at you."

Even if 99.99% of the community is amazing, that still leaves at least 1,000 people who are still willing to do/say terrible things to the developers.

If you go to the account that this account uses for proof, you'll see that the user (byofrog) admitted that they fudged the specs to make them look identical. This is not a one to one comparison

Screenrant Article here from a day ago. It does still state that Nintendo intends to investigate, but most of the stolen/copied asset claims have been refuted or rescinded. With the main "they stole assets" person admitting they fabricated the proof because they hate how Palworld glorifies animal abuse (which is extremely ironic to me because no one had a problem when Pokémon was cockfighting for children)

Imo the just feels weird because mass murder shouldn't be a "just". It should be somewhat near a penultimate, but compared to genocide...

Yes, the USSR and Nazi Germany were definitely working together, not sure what you're talking about here.

Now if only she wasn't so damn buggy :( I want my Durge to have an evil partner but nooooo she has to glitch out and not appear in act 2 at all.

Yeah this is more along the lines of "researcher working with multinational team falls ill in remote cave" more than "dumb american does dumb thing and needs rescue". Man started throwing up blood and fell into a 3 day semiconciousness at which point he needed rescue.

Check out 'geforce now'. It's Nvidia's cloud gaming and I'm pretty sure Baldur's Gate 3 is available now. It's $20 a month but still cheaper than buying a whole new machine.

Not a ton more than what's been available since early access, but I love seeing these big name articles popping up with the same sort of wonder and intrigue. Everyone who I talk to has been amazed about all the things you can do, and to see that in a big name review is awesome.

fyi for anyone stuck at work like myself, you can use the steam app to remotely start the download so long as your computer is awake and connected to internet.

So I'm imagining it's a toss up on whether or not players played through EA or not, and in my mind this would apply to Act I as well as beyond, but how does this community intend to deal with storyline spoilers? If markdown is implemented right,

! Then this should be a spoiler

but if the markdown method of right arrow (>) followed by an exclamation point (!) does not properly tag spoilers, do folks care enough? Maybe marking posts with story spoilers as nsfw?

I would like to suggest no spoilers for storyline in future post titles, and either having spoiler tags on comments or something along those lines. This all might be a non-issue for most community members, but I figure if there are people out there who want a spoiler free time while still being able to visit this community to talk about the game (people like myself).

What do y'all think? Regardless, I'm very excited to play through this new story! Happy Launch Day y'all!

From user faethon on how to properly do spoilers in lemmy :

I used the

Heading content

markdown

You're getting downvoted because it's hard to believe there are any folk out there who are arguing in good faith that climate change is not at least partially (if not majorly) impacted by man-made causes. Capitalism being a driving factor would go hand in hand with climate change due to its proponents of "fuck you I got mine" and get rich at any cost. Capitalism is not for the people, it is for the capitalist, and the capitalists have shown that they are willing to burn the world down for short term gains. See the picture above.

If you can tell me you believe that fossil-fuel executives, having looked at this picture, think "oh man we really should've been listening to scientists for the past half century", then I can show you a liar.
